These squids have been cut into rings for fuss-free food preparation. Good quality Squid when cooked right, should have a tender bite to them. Hard to chew and difficult to swallow ones are either over-cooked, or of inferior quality.

Squid cooks quickly so you can take it off the fire once it turns white. Squid turns tough when overcooked. The trick to a soft, supple texture is to cook it quickly over high heat or slowly over low, whether sauteing, roasting, stir-frying, grilling, or even deep-frying.

Keep chilled in the refrigerator between 0°C and below 4°C.
